Ah, true widescreen support for FS would be freak'n awesome, but I'm still a bit hazy as to whether it really works or not (it causes errors, works but not true widescreen, etc.). I guess it's all well and good for me now anyway, as I haven't been able to pick up a snazy new widescreen tv or monitor just yet. lol Expensive!

Ah.. good ol memory error.. you need to update windows vista 64bit os, also you can change some of your memory allocation in vista, so that you no longer get those errors.
I had the same problem, so if you google memory not sane error, you should be able to find all the links i did to help you with it.

Well, do you think its the OS? The memory error is one that reports something not seeming sane, but if this is on just the Tatooine maps, I could just disconnect on loading and change the res quickly. so I guess that will work fine. Thanks anyways.

I have 2 GB of gaming ram, I doubt its my computer, but I do have 64bit vista. And yes, I have been playing 2142 without widescreen for over a year with no problems.

BF2142 1.50 patch is supposed to give us some widescreen support.
If this is true, does it carry over to FS ?

How much RAM do you have? Tried playing, without widescreen? (which still isnt true widescreen anyways, it provides no extra FOV)

Using the widescreen attachment, I seem to be able to play space maps and most others but both the Tatooine maps make memory errors during loading, is there a way to fix this?
