just stick my nose in here, I seen the whole thing . canadians you was in a AT-ST ,so was I we both got out to repair athlon's tank, Then you kept walking up to his tank nudging and pushing till the tank exploded, you t/k athlon [ in my view deliberatly] there was no reason for it at all. Unless you lost your mind to wacky backy...lol.

I have no recollection of that occuring...I'm usually in an airspeeder on Ryloth bustin' TIEs.

I do take the Freerunners on a loop-de-loop stunt tour freestyle etc occasionally though.

Believe it or not, you get the same penalty of -3 points whether or not you are 'punished' for the TK! The TK punishes only count towards the server's auto-kick settings; e.g. 4 TK punishes against you and you're automatically kicked from the server. It's a really crappy, highly unpopular part of the game engine, and I'm surprised they kept it from BF2.

Yeah, I agree. The penalty is pretty harsh for space maps. Although, I must admit I sometimes accidently hit the wrong key and punish whoever nailed me when I meant to forgive them. *blushes* lol

Is the TK penalty really 3 points? I'm sorry, but that's retarded for space maps. It ruins your entire round when a friendly decides to dart into your line of fire when you're finishing off a TIE

It's really too much of a penalty.

Yeah I'm pretty sure that's how I got it. But it had to be a round where I didn't run into anyone or visa versa. I say that because like many of you guys I've played that map a lot and I just now got the pin.

Well, what you could do is go for the starfighter pin on Escape from Hoth. To start, crew with a full transport and you'll get team points from all the kills the thing makes, then switch to an X-Wing with enough time left to rack up your own 10.
