It would be nice but I'm not that concerned with it. I could see it being a bit difficult to score. How many torps did each player slam into the tower before it blew? How many bolts? Does everyone get the destruction point, even if a particular player only hit it with one blaster bolt? This conversion is already (in my opinion) the best Star Wars combat game ever produced. It will only get better. Right now I think we should mostly be focused on getting more people to give it a try. If you like the game, even a little bit, try to get your friends to play. I'm purchasing a discounted 2142 for a friend because he's down on his luck and I really want him playing along with me that badly. Pimp it. If you weren't killing the enemy or supporting your teammates- what were you doing? (stats don't show how many team mates jumped on your APMs or crashed their speeders into your tank...)

Like Irachanu, I get competitive and I have to reign that in sometimes. And often when my team won't work together or if we're going to lose the round I just decide to take as many enemies down with me as possible.

Anyway, the lack of points isn't my gripe with space maps, but it would be nice to get points rather than martyrdom when you hyperspace a gallo'!

High stats normally equate to high hours played. Often a certain map will afford any player of a particular side more points purely by the objectives laid down on that map.
Yavin - Imperial- Turbo laser = Gold, requiring no skill what so ever
Rebel - Destroy the towers = nothing other than destroying your k/D ratio
Any space map jump into the gun positions on a cruiser and your score will rocket.
Rhen Var Research play as Imperial you will stick out like a sore thumb against the snow so Rebels often have the advantage score wise.
Imperial convoy jump into a Y wing or just reapeatedly press suicide, It'll have the same end result
I appreciate that a lot of work goes into balancing the maps win wise. This is not true score wise and this makes the whole ranking system a farce.
I play FS because its enjoyable, I really don't care who's number 1. On an evenly balanced map those with skill will always outshine those with high rank

It reduces teamplay because FS is designed so that you will constantly change your kit, not like PR where you stay with one kit the whole round.
