I don't particularly mind small points bonuses, but in BF2 they conferred no bonus and everyone still wanted them.

I think ranking system based on career points doesnt get a good teamplay.  People is more interested to get pins, medals etc to do good ranking than win the round.

Notice that:  1st and 2nd in ranking have got almost 2000 points in awards, pins etc.

IMO, ranking system has to base on ingame points (without awards points) like it is normal ranking bf2142.
