Thank you very much and I would like to appologize for sounding like such a dickwead in my post, I should always have my meds before attemping to do anything PC related. I'll be ready to be shot by yall now that the wonderful staff here at FS has helped this retarted addition to the community, thanks once again for your time. btw Dr. Landau in game if yall need to improve your K/D ratio.

If you have the widescreen command on you need to add +widescreen 1 to your fs shortcut or it will crash as soon as it starts. This is a flaw in the 2142 engine. Vanilla will crash if you take out widescreen as well until you go into video settings and choose a not widescreen resolution.

too bad there seems to be no answer, guess we're azz out, looks like a fun mod, maybe they like lots of empty servers and hanging out on their forums instead of playing the mod or helping people that would like to join in, oh well maybe i'll get the interest to waste time i don't have to figure it out myself or just go have a beer and some puss instead

I have the same problem... start up FS and it crashes to the desktop after some flickering. I'm running 2142 v1.5 and FS I have tried 1.2, 1.25 and 1.3 All to no avail. Vanilla BF2142 runs perfectly at max graphics and I have the widescreen command on.

Specs:

AMD Athlon 64x2 6000+
Gigabyte Nvidia 8600GT
Corsair DDR2 2gb RAM

Yes, you must have 2142 1.5 and FS 1.25 in order to play online

Just reinstalled, about to get v1.5 and then the mod. I need to download V1.2 of the mod, and then v1.25 ?

I would recommend finding out Skyraper's location, spawnkill him, then re-install bf2142, first install patch 1.5, then install fs 1.2, then apply hot fix 1.25, if it still doesn't work maybe Skyrapers plan might.

Helllpp !

Installed the newest BF Patch, (V1.5) and loaded FS up. All that happens in the screen blinks lighter and darker, then back to my desktop. Nothing loads !

When I try to run BF normally, it says a new patch is available and I need to install it. When I check the game is loading us as version 1.09, and not v1.5.
I'm vexed !
