You know, that reminds me of that kid on YouTube who got so mad when playing a game that he beat his TV and nearly started crying. LOL I'm not saying that's how you get Twigs, but if you haven't seen that video, you really gotta try and find it.

]]>Jihads... what? I've never seen a Jihad. Closest I've seen to this is people running infront of allies fire and getting blown up by standing on allies grenades. Never anyone suiciding to kill enemies anyway.
]]>Well that and if teamdamage is on. There's been a huge increase in detpack spamming and jihading as of late also :S Think those will be next on the nerf list because of that.
]]>You know from reading all this it realy seems like a no brainer to find some middle ground. Remove all the badges and pins but continue to record points. This way people will be encouraged to play well, using teamwork etc. while continuing to gain points and rank up.
That may cause stat lovers to stop playing, there's no denying that some people play just to earn the badges. It may annoy those that want to play the game and win an encounter, but thats life. Makes me laugh to see people jumping over a wall knife in hand trying to earn that melee badge though
Honestly I think the people complaining about the stats do so because their stats aren't all that great. And if they really didn't care about stats, why are they complaining in the first place? Maybe because people give them a hard time about their stats? Waahhhh! I love the competitive nature of gaming and stats symbolize that. It's you stat haters that make me want to own you even more and rub it in your faces! >:P
My stats are fine thanks, even taking a bit of time to do some real war work in the desert you guys haven't pulled that great a lead and I'm almost back in the top ten, despite having about half the playing time of some of those in the top spots, and some of my time spent testing I just hate being a squad leader and having someone not change kits to something we need while they work on their trooper pin. Which is why I stopped doing SL.
As for competitive nature, yeah, I do. Which is why you often see me get VERY frustrated with people, either for doing something stupid and costing the team a valuable asset, such as taking the mortar freerunner for a rdie on Bestine, not knowing how to use the mortar and that its only got the little cannon, so jumping out and abandoning it. Or ramming it with the personnel carrier so it is pushed right into the line of fire of a tank and walker and destroyed in seconds. People who sit at various cp's in Endor strike team spamming the coms asking why they cant cap while the rest of the imp team tries to defend....Then I get seriously pissed off and stamp my feet at people when these things happen.
Yes people should play the game how they want, just dont upset me while you do it, and have the common sense to read the map intro and find out what your doing.
]]>If you want to join a squad and be a team player OR 'lone wolf' it so be it. I for one like to do both. But some of you people make it sound as if there is something seriously wrong with Lonewolfen it. I don't know how many people have saved a round by sneaking off by themselves and scoring another flag just as their team loses their last one. I've done this myself, sometimes in a squad. IMO that IS being a team player.

People running off to get badges is just an excuse to get rid of the stats. I don't care if someone is trying to get a badge. I never even notice because I'm too busy enjoying the game, which is why it was made right? Earn you're badges fellas! I'm with RabidJohn, I'll help you if I can. Just kill the other team while doing it, have fun and don't listen to all those whiners.

If someone tells me they're going for a pin, I'll try to help them get it, or as the case may be, point out that the situation they're facing isn't the best opportunity for getting it. Next time they play, they may be more amenable to my suggestions, or they may not; still worth trying as far as I'm concerned...
