]]>IMO XSI is better than 3ds max but more games seem to be 3ds max compatable than XSI (unless you like converting lol)

Lots of tutorials, just google search, although self-teahcing works pretty well once you have the basics. One tip: learn your modifiers and UV Mapping seems foreign at first, but just play with it and it will start to make sense. I thought I'd never get it then one day I just tried it and got it.
