Me and a mate were once playing it 1 vs 1 on LAN and his missus was standing behind me, watching me stalk him then open up at close range with an automatic shotgun. She could see the result on my monitor. "Oh my hamsters, he's blown your f***** legs off!" she screamed. Then more quietly: "Oh my hamsters, there's bones sticking out of the stumps... and I can't be doing with the sound of that blood squirting out..."

Laughing, I looked round. She'd gone all white and had to sit down!

It's probably a good thing that I don't have any screenshots to show you...;)

no, its just that my parents arnt a big fan of blood in fpss, he isnt into fps that r too realistic, (games like fs, bf2142, maybe bf2 r the most realistic i can get without being "too realistic"

(slight offtopic) i bought bf1942 wwII acronaglyt but not the complete collection. Why? Because bfv has BLOOD! Unless u can turn the blood off, im not gettiing bfv lol

(ontopic) I would love to hear music in first strike. especially if it emulates the interactive imuse system (i know that having several small .ogg files to play dynamic music might be a pain in the butt for the devs ) But apperently, it seems that vanilla bf2, (which vanilla bf2142 is based on, which first strike is based on vanilla bf2142 ect) u cant play music ingame. BF1942 u can change files to play levels (if there are fans who just cant seperate star wars good gameplay and music, play galactic conquest, they still have an active community and although isnt as good as fs, is better then the battlefronts) Oh well, you cant have everything in life

One of the main reasons I don't want it. I can all too easily picture sitting at a Combat Speeder's repeater near a corner on Mos Espa, knowing a stormtrooper squad will soon come into view to be mowed down - only to have a careless player get in the driver's seat and start playing some soundtrack, alerting the imps of our presence.

Other reasons being that it's not really necessary, not realistic (troops typically don't sit there listening to music while fighting ), and could get annoying very fast. I remember people spamming messages at their drivers asking them to turn off the ****ing radio in BFV, usually followed by either silence or "my car, my choice of music".

Has nothing to do with laziness.  We can either make the mod or we can sit here cleaning the forums.

Still, if you get a spare moment, can you sort it so the last three letters of crass taken in isolation are not replaced? It is a bit silly...
