You want the maps to look less barren, so that for example the incredible bare Imperial Outpost on EST is 'furnitured' like the one overlooking Bestine.

What about this, then ?

I'd love for the buildings in Mos Espa with interiors to be at least partly furnitured. It can impossibly increase lag that much.

Oh, and I hate to tell you this, but those screenies aren't from an official map.

Problem is that tables and stuff would end up impeding combat somewhat.. It would have to be done right.

I'd like to see discarded weapons on racks and that sort of jazz. The rebel posters on Ryloth are such a nice touch- theres a lot of scope for that kind of thing. Imperials don't do clutter though. I was a little surprised to see the boxes/ crates on Endor were not lined exactly parallel with the face of the outpost

I wasn't going into the pagodas on a mideast map or ill fitting statics on a map. How about clusters of appropriate colored or snow covered rocks on Rhen Varr and Ryloth. More snow covered or textured statics (I covered this a while ago) on Rhen Varr, every nonvertical surface would probably have snow on it. Junk, trash, adandoned equipment, check points, relay stations add to the atmosphere too. I just think the envirnoments if they've had personnel on them for more than 2 days wouldn't be very sterile. Hell even mass graves, frozen corpses or grave markers would be sweet.

I agree some maps need a bit of a facelift, to a limited degree (Mos Espa is surrounded by completely flat terrain, for example). I don't really agree with carrying over statics, though - I feel the statics of a map or planet belong there only, like you'd not expect to see pagodas in the Middle East in BF2 - but that's maybe just me.

But yes, more clutter. Definitely.

They have been changing things slightly. Turrets on Endor, for example. I think Bestine's been changed a bit since original release, and etc. Of course, more improvements would be welcome. I'd really like to see Endor, complete with bunker and openable/closable/destroyable doors. And an updated objective of destroying the reactor or whatever inside.

As new statics are made I hope efforts are taken to update existing maps. What do I mean? Take those Echo base control room map and console statics and start plugging them into the currently bare structures on several maps like Rhen Varr and Tatooine. Currently those are nice structures but are completely bare inside. Details, details, that's the reason those Tatooine maps already look so good. Spread the wealth and add more detail to Ryloth and Rhen Varr, the landscapes and certain areas look very vanilla BF1942 with their lack of clutter.
