Too bad you guys werent in IRC back then, you wouldve had a chance to become a stress tester back then. It saved me from going crazy back then.

Those releases are really hard for devs, and when ppl start to whine about it being late, I want to kill them for not respecting the devs for giving a great mod for free and using lots their own time without getting any profit from it.

I did not have one shred of patience when 1.2 was nearing D-Day. Then again, not many people did, we were a little too teased by the mysterious additions and the wonder of when release date would be. Now, having just returned to FS after these past few months, it seems the patch came in no time, and I feel I can wait a little longer...

I remember just before 1.2 came out I lost it a bit on the forums. Acted like a jerk and upset a few people because I was eager to play the new maps. One thing i've learned since then is the incredible amount of work that goes into creating each map and balancing it. When 1.2 did arrive it really did blow us all away so I would say the new keyword is Patience

FS did. Remember the first release? Sep 28th? It was announced ahead of time and then released on time.

No. Every single patch has had a "soon" tag on it. Every patch so far has arrived. The Dev's like to make sure everything is right.
