It's being worked on toaster, it is a lengthy delicate process integrated such things into the regular MP version of the mod.

yes TALON i tried the BtrL mod....they did do a very good job with it but it hasnt had any updates in a while not even sure if they will continue. and also i dont always like to fly...its fun sometimes but not always.

there is also the fleet commander people talking about doing one for crysis... i was thinking sure it will look good but i cant imagine too many people playing since crysis isnt selling much and hardly any regular servers are running.

so basically i dont think anyone is in the process of making a battlestar mod based on an engine that lets you do it all the way 2142 does. also i met resistance when suggesting anything on those other modders forums. seems to be more enthusiasm here...and enthusiasm goes a long way.

is there ever going to be a co-op mode for First Strike? i often go on waiting for someone to join...maybe there will be more after the next patch.

Yeah, BtRL is a standalone mod of one of my favorite games ever, Freespace 2...

There already is a BSG mod out there, check it out on ModDB, can't think what the name of it is off hand (Beyond the Red Line or something like that I think), but I think it is more space based combat, don't think they have any ground infantry stuff in there, but it looks really good from what I've seen of it. I also think it won a few ModDB awards for best mod last year as well. You shouldn't have trouble finding it on there.

i just started playing this mod yesterday and i am sure i will put more hours into it than vanilla 2142. its awesome and i like flying things around between canyons...and those bikes are great. its fun even with only a few players.

got me thinking you guys would be perfect for making a BSG mod. similar to what you are doing here but i guess with less vehicles.....maybe some made up land vehicles. i have a few ideas... galactica turret mounted on a tank? but mainly 2 types of vipers and 2 types of raptors (1 assault and one regular) a cylon raider and heavy raider. it would be interesting to play as a centurion also...with those guns in the arms.
