The resolution does not change, it displays standard 1024x760. I did the same thing ive done for bf2 and bf2142.

"C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\Battlefield 2142\First Strike\FirstStrikeLauncher.exe" +menu 1 +fullscreen 1 +szx 1680 +szy 1050


I've tried some other suggestions, but i think im missing something and i hope someone could help me, thanks!
