You know what im loving about 1.4?Ever since release no matter what time of day it is there's always some players on a server having a game!Wicked:)

I second. Before 1.2 we were lucky if we had 20-30 people on during a CG. Now I hear of numbers surpassing that on ordinary gaming days. It's awesome.

Let's hope the numbers keeps increasing.

My guess would be that the server updater must have done something screwy when updating to the latest version. I would suggest reinstalling 1.3 server files and patching up again.

Hello First Strike team.

We just had a run through of the latest version of First Strike. As soon as any of us deployed a mine FS would crash everyone to desktop.
There were several CP's missing.

We couldn't really test the rest because we would continously crash. We are running the 32 man maps.

Any ideas?

Are you starting it from the FS Launcher?

Tried to join the DSGaming server and it wouldn't allow unmodified content or something similar. Is this the widescreen thing because it is the only thing I have done apart from install it ?

The autoupdater does not require remotedesktop access, it runs entirely on its own. Any server than can run 2142 can run this program. If you wish to run a FirstStrike server you must use this utility.

the client updater is not working here. It says there aren't any new versions.
