Now, if I can just get the damn thing populated! We had about a dozen or so in there for a couple rounds, then we went for a good hour and a half until we had enough to start the game, then someone left

give us a shout if your server continues to have problems updating when new patches are released.

You guys should really add this to the top of the Modified Content sticky:

"Try another server. The one you're on may not be updated."

I've been trying to join my clan's server and it appears it wasn't up-to-date. I had to remote into the server and run the dedicated server exe file to update it. Looks like your autoupdater doesn't always work.

I can now play on my clan's server without the Modified Content error.

Ok, an update. I got the launcher to work. Someone previously recommended that I run it in Administrator mode. I had right clicked on the shortcut and selected the option "Run as an Administrator" and it didn't work. However, now I right clicked, selected properties, Shortcut tab and then Advanced and there's an option there to run as Administrator.

Now I'm getting the modified content error.. I'll check the forums for solutions to that.

UAC is already deactivated. I've tried it as adminstrator. This only started after the update to the launcher. Before that, I had no problem launching the mod. I have no other internet security programs running and no virus protection. I have no problems with any other game, FTP program, browser, or anything else internet related.

Am I really the only one with the problem? I am hoping it's a bug (that has a fix) rather than a problem unique to me.

GrossKopf, do you have UAC activated? (or whatever that thing is called in Vista) Try either deactivating it, or make sure that you're running the Launcher as an administrator.

I've disabled my firewall and it still won't go beyond the "checking for new updates..."

I have Vista 64, I have no problems with it. It sounds like a firewall problem if some sort, turn off anything that is limiting your connection and try again.

Well, I uninstalled the mod and the launcher and then reinstalled both and I'm still getting the same thing. The launcher updated to the latest version, but it won't get beyond the "checking for new updates..."

Maybe it's a Vista 64 problem? Anyone else having the same problem as me?

That just means there's no new patches out There's nothing wrong. Also, are you sure you have version 0.0.7.1? That's an old version, check Help->About to see what version you currently have.
