I did that, that's how I got from modded content messages to CTDs, I am going to try to download 1.4 full and see how that goes.

Go into your BF2142/mods folder. Delete builds 1001 through to 1004 in that folder. Open your launcher, go to file -> Prefernces, set your version to 1000 hit apply then try to update.

I am having the same problem, FS 1.4 worked w/ the first update, but now it CTD when I click on deploy, atleast the server isn't booting me for unmodded content. It boots me on DSGaming. I am running Vista SP2 and running the game through the launcher as admin.

I had it working fine on release, the next day i got the unmodified content error. So i deleted everything that had anything to do with FS and BF2142. I reinstalled everything, updated my launcher, launched the game and then it crashes and says. First Strike has encountered a problem.

Im on Vista too.
