It's pretty freqently used and PUBLIC for new users to start-up their own channels, be channel admin, enable password protected channels, etc...  Channel admins have "kick" and "ban" ability, so you can boot those singing Scottsman if ya want.

Also, on CG nights - you can squad up on seperate channels...

Anyway, I will repeat what I said.  Ventrilo has better SOUND quality, considering that both programs are used to communicate via SOUND you'd expect the program with the quality to be the better program. The only reason that Vent isn't used as much is because it costs money to host a server while TS is free for non-commerial use.  When you think of it, furniture you find in the street is free (if not very common), but I'd still go out and buy better quality furniture than sitting on uncomfy (staticy/bad sound quality) free sofas.  And for those that prefer TS, as I said before the current TS server is still up, I never saw any of you on that - the server details in the FAQ was only changed a few weeks ago so I'm sure you'd still have the IP.

Personally, I appreciate your offer DaddyO, but I won't join your server just due to the fact that there is already a server up, which was never used, and also an alternative with better sound quality - the quality that I have gotton so used to that I end up with a headache on my occasional visit to a TS server.  You guys are entitled to your own views, but it is beyond me as to why anyone wants to use that program when there are alternatives with better quality (again, I reiterate that you are using a program made for transmitting SOUND, not static/distortion) available, already been setup and are also free to download.  It just makes no sense to me at all.
