Thanks for getting the word out there DaddyO, you just keep doing what you're doing. Exposing as many new people to the mod is just what we need everyone to do, and it is very much appreciated.

Gezze guys stop bashing him constantly on everything. Thank for trying to get more player but the way you did it was suckish- thank's but team speak is suckish- asking people to play a game is pestering. Your stupid because those people like BF2. It isn't like BF2 yes, but going on to a forum and going "play this because the game you love sucks" isn't helping. He might have said it was better, but a huge part of FS is being involved in the community, so far it seems your giving him the cold shoulder. I personally don't know what there talking about when they say FS dosn't feel like star wars, but them saying they don't like it doesn't mean C3 is stupid or idiotic. Realy can't you just say thank you. Im sure you guys will beat me down on this though.

I commend your advertising too, but I think you could done it with a better way. That second link you've really compared us to SWBF. That is something we are NOT like, infact we strive to be as different from it as we can.

Advertising of the mod is better describing its teamplay elements. SWBF is a lone wolf game, we strive to be the opposite. Go along the lines of all the subconcious teamwork concept, consult these articles for reference.

I read some of those post and those people must be crazy. Who would actually prefer the arcade crap that is Battle front to First strike which has real team play. Thanks for trying though daddyo

In my opinion, bugging people just creates animosity and pushes people from the mod more than it draws them to it. I have no problem with generic "Remember event x at Saturday 00/0 00:00" messages, but pestering people will just give them a bad impression of the whole mod. Your time is better spent advertising the mod (again, not in a pestering way) to people who haven't played it yet.

Again - in my opinion.

lol - none of my "business"?! What, are you 12 years old?.. I'm just making observations and suggestions on how we might get more people online playing at the same time.

As a member of this forum, it's ALL of our business - otherwise, why are we here? It's to coordinate PLAYING the mod and sharing experiences and suggestions for making it better/more fun.

|KW|C3-DaddyO, it's none of your business what ppl play while CG is going on, the First Strike Xfire group is free to join, anyone can join it, and you don't have to even play First Strike if you are in it.

And also, there used to be only one CG on Saturday night, but some American doods couldn't get in there because of the time difference, so they made another CG that was on better time for them.

I was thinking of joining tonight but I just remembered that I recently got my drive cleaned out so I'll have to go for the reinstall and reconfigure

and the xfire group is fecked up cause Ive never gotten in still to this day lmao

Some people are also part of a group who want to get some certain game into the top 10 most played XFire games. To do this they turn on that game after turning on XFire, do whatever they want for the rest of the day and turn their PC off. All the time their PC is on it records them as playing that game making the total game time for it go up.

The CG's aren't dedicated to one place or the other.

Fridays are more geared towards those US players that just can't make it to the offical (saturday) ones. Its hard to get Euro players to join them just because it is so late. These CG's are unofficial, not announced as they are just too late for all the europeans to make it.

Saturdays are more for everyone - its at a decent time for UK people to begin with, and some Eastern Coasters, and usually plays with most of the Euro players staying and more USers joining later on and later when alot of the euro players leave the US West Coasters are starting to come on. Today's CG was cut short as about 2/3 of the players quit the game after a server crash which lasted about 30 seconds. Usually people come back pretty snappy, today it was different and we just had to turn off the settings as there wasn't enough of us to keep it going.

9PM(British time, that is) onwards is the best time for CG as it theoretically carries on for as long as the USers plan on staying. And its hosted on a server which handles long distance connections very well (yes, there is the occasional problem but they really seem to be only for certain people) and can handle full 64p cap with BR enabled. The CG's are for everyone, its just up for everyone to keep them going.

Why don't we have Community Game night for ALL players on the same night?... Either Fri, or Sat - I don't care.... frankly, I wish there were enough players of this MOD to make it every night.

Tonight's CG night peaked at 40 players at 5:00pm CST in the US... cripes, by the time I joined it was done.

Oh, the xfire group SUCKS! - I've bugged members for 3 nights in a row to join on... but no one will (well maybie 1 or 2) - and what's with that one dude always playing solitare???... go look! he's playing it now!

Anyway - this mod rocks and I would LOVE more players to be online in the evening 6:00pm - 12:00am CST.

It's Saturday night at 7:00pm and there's 1 dude on...

Let's have CG night on the same night for everyone - the time difference will even out... Europe fades as North America builds up.

Hmmmmm.....
