Update:
It seems what something went wrong while installing the installer (maybe a Vista 64 Bit Thing ?)

While in my BF 2142 mods\directory all Updates are shown, his directory only contains BF 2142 and FirstStrike

A friend of mine got following message if he starts the Launcher:

"In order to play First Strike, you must have Battlefield 2142 installed."

The Launcher didn't start.

OS is Vista 64 Bit Ultimate, he has administrator rights, accounts are of.
BF 2142 is DVD Version, patched to 1.5
First Strike should be 1.4 (he has downloaded it recently)
BF 2142 works

Things he has done to fix it:
BF 2142 reinstalled, patched, FS Mod 1.4 installed, launcher re-installed.
no succes

Edit:
If he changes via Community\Own Games from BF 2142 to First Strike the Mod is loaded, he can start a First-Striek Lanserver, Yavin has worked, Ryloth not.
In Multiplay all servers are shown.

Any know solutions to the "In order to play First Strike, you must have Battlefield 2142 installed."
problem ?
