unless there was some kind of bounty hunter class..there would be no logic or point into adding jet packs..

Honestly, I am sad to see RabidJohn, and all the others, leave the game. I just think that jetpacks would make the game more challenging than just running around on the ground all the time. Oh well!

Duke, he's mentioned nothing about jetpacks. He's merely taken the time out to let people know he no longer wishes to play and as one of the top ranked players is giving up his entitlement to one of the top rank slots, chosen by the devs.

Oh, and jetpacks should have the flight characteristics of a brick.

DUKE, how about you smurf off and don't ruin his goodbye, aye? No one gives to shits about your jetpacks, they were actually FLAGGED FOR REMOVAL for this version. If you seriously want jetpacks on Bando and Null, speak to the mappers (Zyth/Bandu and Krenyo), watch them laugh in your face. Jetpacks would ruin the maps. Niether Danny or John have mentioned Jetpacks at all in their leaving posts.

We may have had our differences in the past, John, but it's a shame to see you go. It was nice to have a challenging squad leader on the other team, someone who had teamplay at heart the whole time. You better be back for Hoth!

See, if we had JETPACKS on Bandomeer and Null Station this loss might not have happened. It didn't have to happen. Keeping people's interests up with new and fun technology is necessary. Did anyone listen to me? NO. Goodbye Rabid, I will miss blowing you away on a distance alien planet and watching your corpse slide down the side of a cliff. First Danfun, now RabidJohn, both preventable tragedies. Who will be next?

BTW, the JETPACKS should have the flight physics/characteristics of the Vanilla Talon aircraft not those hard to control pods.

Not bad way to go out still in second place in the rankings too, not bad at all considering you've not been playing for a few months.

After an absence of several months from the galactic battlefield, I made a brief return for the CGs this weekend.

Although I caned the arse off this game for a good few months, I have to admit my heart is no longer in it and I've not really enjoyed playing over the weekend, so I'm going to quit now with a load of happy memories.

Please consider me inactive and don't include me in the reckoning for future allocation of prestige ranks. Keep them for the active players.

Thank you to everyone involved for a brilliant gaming experience. It's been sweet, and I hope it continues for you for as long as you want it.
