I reinstalled first strike and now it works fine but i get the modified content error when playing vanilla 2142. The forum on the error didn't help but i only really use 2142 to play first strike anyway. Keep on the good work on your awesome mod.

One more thing... can someone please make a playable droideka for the next release? Or at least make a map that has them as AI that shoot at you. Just an idea.

Sounds like a faulty install.

Try joining the DSGaming.net server (I'll go set that to 16p null so you can test), or the RSF public server (poll for Null) and see if the issue happens in there. Chances are you will get a crash-to-desktop on clicking deploy, if so, you'll need to reinstall First Strike again.

In the null sensor station i fall through the map at the rebel spawnpoint in the 16 player (maybe other ones as well) map. This happened when i was creating my own server. The building by the last imperial spawnpoint was also missing. does anyone else have these issues?

It is worth noting that im running xp on bootcamp which means i get nvidia drivers from apple on their cd (which came out in about december 2008) but i have heaps of games which all run fine. Playing battlefield 2142 in normal mode has no issues.
