First of all here is my computer's specs.
Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3R (P45 mobo)
Intel Core 2 Duo E7400 @ 2.8GHz (stock)
EVGA 9800 GTX+ SuperClocked
Creative X-Fi Titanium Fatality Professional
Promise PCI IDE RAID controller
PC P&C Silencer 750W
Seagate 7200RPM 250GB IDE
Pioneer DVD-ROM
NEC DVD+/-RW

Install order of programs.
BF2142 (original version) from DVD
*ran BF2142, restarted computer
BF2142 1.5 patch (DLed from official EA server)
*ran BF2142 1.5, restarted computer
FirstSrrike_v1.4_Full1000.exe (DLed from FileShack via ModDB link 3/5/09)
*ran First Strike updater & grabbed a bunch of updates, ran game & changed settings to high w/ 1024x768 75Hz, restarted computer & ran again.

C:\mods\fsum.exe FirstSrrike_v1.4_Full1000.exe
FirstSrrike_v1.4_Full1000.exe properties = 1.16 GB (1,247,068,250 bytes)

Ok, now I have all the files installed and they're running smoothly.  I was a little worried at first because it was listing as 1.2 in the custom game window.  But I've since found out that's just a bug.

The game seems to be running fine, except I cant find any servers at all.  No matter what parameters i use.  (I can find & connect to BF2142 servers however, if i disable Same Mod or just run 2142)

Besides the Custom Game being listed as version 1.2 which i know is just something which hasnt been updated, i noticed that in the taskbar, or when run in windowed mode it listed the game as "BF2142 (V1.10.48.0, ...)".  Am i running the correct version.  My first thought was that I somehow borked my installation and that my version wasnt the same as the newest version which i assume all the servers are running, so i wasn't getting any listed.

I have tried w/ SPI disabled & even w/ my computer set as a DMZ w/ no firewall as i thought that might have been an issue somehow preventing it from finding any servers.  I have run in Admin & Limited mode w/ the same result.

What am I missing?  I really want to try this mod!  I loved that one for BF1942 way back when & cant believe i didnt know this one existed until now.
