Right mate, I'm not to sure if this is related or not, but I had a problem with CTD's on vanilla Titan maps a while back. It's worth a shot.

Download and install the program located on THIS. Once its installed, navigate to your BF2142 folder and right click on "FirstStrike.exe". (I'd also recomend making a backup of firststrike.exe before continuing) Click "Open in CFF Explorer", and get to the menu in the following picture:

NT headers -> File Header -> Characteristics

Check the App Can handle >2GB adress space box, hit okay. Save the file, try to play FS.

As I said, this was something I used to let me play more than 1 round of Titan maps in vanilla, as I used to crash on new map/round with those. It may not be the same problem causing your errors, I'm afraid.

Hunter, welcome back!

The bad news is....some of the latest updates fixed some issues that would highlight wether your install was faulty. Best thing to do is to reinstall the lot using 1.4 full.

Remember to delete all 2142 and FS folders before the reinstall. I know it sounds like a pain..but trust me!
