i might be missing the point here, but
where do you get naval boarding from?

A more suitable reference would be another Star Wars mod,
which already did an attempt of realizing boarding in space.
Granted "boarding" was basically just "glitching" into the enemy ship in that game...

The point I was trying to make is boarding in just the general term or meaning is going on or hijacking a simple mode of transportation...

Most vessels of this era of a galaxy far away.... obviously wouldn't just be throwing a crew overboard (ETW) its systematically taking a ship room by room and leading up to the utmost important control point being the bridge.

If boarding is done like whats actually shown in say... Halo (minus the boarding pods) but ANH however would be a drawback, one point of attack and entry to have to bottleneck under would be distasteful.
