Why the SPHA-T when you could have the SPMA-T?
I kind of like this thing better looks more Empire like, or maybe it's just me.

Having the thing as a static wreck in some maps could - say could make sense but even if it did it would be quite low priority and , come on , vehicles
that big take ages to make , even as statics.

You could have a level where one of these bastids is in ruins, from the Clone Wars era on some planet and maybe capturing the point inside it would garner one faction some valuable items, story-wise.
The body of it is big enough to have levels within it, possibly bigger than any of the buildings currently in FS. But, ultimately, would be awesome to see even if a relic by FS's timeframe.

Possibly pleasing.

p.s. I think this thing has 12 legs.

I don't like it either... Though something along the same lines could be nice in the future, as long as its more star warsy looking. For now I vote for further use of the probe droid.

Yeah..clone wars era..though some remained in use by the Empire. Anyway, yeah..erm....I say please lets not. Being Clone Wars and Episode 2&3 it just fits that junior star wars 'lets paint a face on it so the kids buy it' image. Looks more like something from the seventies Buck Rogers or Battlestar Galactica IMO.

Keep the suggestions coming in though folks!

They don't remind me of Star Wars too ... If I had to guess, I would say "Star Wars" at perhaps the 5th guess. And well, even if the droid was Star Warsish, it would be a pain in the arse to code it... Look at all these limbs.

You do see the DSDs in episode 2 and 3. They're pretty good. On Kashyyk you see one come out of the water and kill a lot of clone troopers.
