			<description><![CDATA[<p>I had same problem i don&#039;t think you need to buy that usb adopter. All you were suppose to do a just a simple slight change by going in to hardware manager look for audio device ... if you have sigma tel or what ever you have in advance option. Phone line configuration and uncheck all boxes that&#039;s all.</p>]]></description>

Since I swapped my headset to a usb one I&#039;ve not run in to the problem again. I&#039;ll try to get on to an XP system and find the right settings and post again.</p>]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[<p>Formatted my computer, now my mic won;t work properly.</p><p>When i go to set it up in controlpanel/sound devices/voice/test hardware I speak and it reverberates, growing and grwoiing uotil its just a blare of static.</p><p>Fiddling with the volume sliders&nbsp; I can&#039;t get a situation where my voice is audible and doesnt reverb.</p><p>2142 Voip doesnt detect the input at all.</p><p>I&#039;ve tried a diff headset so its not the mic itself.<br />I tried the latest realtek HD audio drivers as well as the ones on the disc that came with my Motherboard.</p><p>Ideas?</p>]]></description>
