Hello,

Server browsing functionality was recently migrated over to a new GameSpy master server that powers Battlefield 2142. There was a small glitch for about 90 minutes earlier this morning that resulted in empty server lists. Everything was restored by around 9:45 AM Pacific time.

You may still be seeing a few less servers than normal, while we wait for all the game servers to complete the restart needed to pick up the new DNS entry for the new master server cluster.

It seems EA isn't displaying mod servers anymore, other mods are having similar issues (for 2142, such as cf2142, the only one I knew of to check out). Hopefully it's a temp thing, trying to communicate with a contact we have at EA to see what is going on.

Must be an EA Master Server mishap going on here. thats 3 seperate people came with the same problem in less than a week. I suppose the best we can do is wait to see if EA fix it, or spam their inboxes if they don't.

Gamemonitor isn't registering the servers either, so something is up.

Sumthing not right here, imp can u have a look into it? I dunno whats changed, the mod hasnt so must be sumthing too do with EA.

hey im having the same problem. i just installed BF2142, patched with 1.50 and then installed and updated First Strike 1.4
i followed the instructions but the server list does not appear at all
everything should be fine

also the conection is ok cuz i can see the 2142 servers if i uncheck same version only and same mod

any ideas??

yep im getting nothing, i dont understand whats wrong, nothing has changed since last night to now.

Yesterday i could see about 12 servers, now i see none.

Can i get an IP please, we will see how that works.

oh no, what i meant was, i can see 2142 server on 2142. Sorry i wasnt specific.

Ill play around with my stuff a little more and let you know how i get on in about 20mins or so.

If you can see 2142 servers (In First Strike) with that Filter Setup, then the filters are set up wrong. Or the Mod has broke itself.

Make sure it's the same ones exactly as above, then hit Update List. If that doesn't work, I'll give you an IP to try connect to, to see if that works.

im having the same problem.

Yesterday i could see servers, today i cant.
And my settings match the pic, my firewall is letting the program through, i have no idea why i cant see them.

I can see 2142 servers just not First Strike.
Anyone?
