I'm sure this may have been addressed already, but I browsed the forums and found some topics related to my problem and still have found no resolution. I'll start by giving you my specs so you know what I'm working with.

Acer Aspire AM5700 Desktop PC
Intel Core 2 ViiV Quad Core Processor
640GB Internal HD
6GB DDR2 RAM
HIS Nvidia 512MB Video Card
Windows Vista Home Premium Service Pack 1 x64Bit
Battlefield 2142 Deluxe Version without Northern Strike Installed v1.5 (All Patched)
First Strike v1.4 Full Download

Here is my problem:
When I first ran the program as an administrator, I was getting the error WSOCK32.dll or something like that was coming up, so I began reading the posts and found nothing. However I did find a post regarding removing the .exe file from the 2142 folder. I went and did this and it took the error away as far as I could tell, but my next problem (and it is still my current issue) was that the message "Conflict with Emulation Software detected" has been coming up anytime I use the launcher. The updates went through the first time without a hitch. But after that I began receiving the emulation conflict error. I happened to stumble across a post wherein someone was receiving the same message. The respondants told him to download a DAEMON Emulation tool, which I did. The version recommended was version 4.30.3, however that had been replaced with v4.30.4 so I therefore downloaded it. The second step was to download yasu 1.5.8111 and I did that. I then transferred the yasu to the DAEMON folder and retried but I am still receiving the same message. Do I need to place an image file in the emulator? If so where can I find this? Or am I missing something? Thanks.
