			<description><![CDATA[<p>Just a thought...<br />Would it be feasible to do <strong>Video versions</strong> of some updates? </p><p>Using the current update as an example, have someone read the copy as it appears over video of the Sandcrawler driving around or perhaps a rotating render of the model?</p><p>Then put it on Youtube and of course the fsmod &amp; Moddb.</p><p>It would be, in my opinion,&nbsp; a justifiable use of the media but would not take anywhere near the time and resources from of the team than some of more ambitious projects we&#039;ve enjoyed in the past.</p>]]></description>

Takes two minutes with a service such as ezboards.</p></blockquote></div><p>We&#039;re not after anything protected by NDA.&nbsp; I&#039;m sure that if there was something the devs wanted to reveal they would either do it themselves, or give us just the details we need to put up news or whatever.</p><p>I can&#039;t speak for others, but I&#039;ve already stated that I&#039;ve done what I can in a &quot;PR&quot; kind of way. It&#039;s not Public Relations unless you are an official rep, we can&#039;t do *real* PR work without havign official recognition.&nbsp; I&#039;ve done what I can, I&#039;ve already shown I mean buisness and know the trade?&nbsp; I worked for a long time with the UKWF lads when they first started FS, I&#039;m sure those of them that were around back then could vouch for me.</p><p>We can start up a forum and all that squeezey pooh no bother, but it&#039;s nto worth the effort.&nbsp; Setting up the forum is easy enough, but everyone involved then has to register to it, go through e-mails for internet activation, neccessery user permissions set up, all just for one subforum.&nbsp; Alternatively, we can have that done here and save the effort having to be done later on.</p><br /><br /><div class="quotebox"><blockquote><p>Not to mention that he&#039;s already been a tester for FS.</p></blockquote></div><p>Meaning I&#039;m still bound by the current NDA (which means squat, I only follow it because of standards), so are most the people that were put forth for the team.&nbsp; So anything that *IS* NDA protected can still go through us, at least, most of us.</p><div class="quotebox"><blockquote><p>So it&#039;s up to the devs to decide, really.</p></blockquote></div><p><span style="color: red">*Sits tapping his feet and looking impatiently at his watch</span></p>]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[<p>Well, that forum IS part of the official 2142 site, so it won&#039;t hurt to get something new in there. People use it and people DO look for mods there. If we&#039;re not showing our faces and being regular updaters on it we&#039;re missing an oppurtunity. </p><p>As to getting a spotlight piece on the front page like PR has for BF2, that may be wishful thinking. EA/Dice may not want to be seen officially endorsing it in case of issues with LA. Won&#039;t hurt to try and get in touch with someone though.</p>]]></description>
