Making the barrels destructible is an impossible concept for our mod atm.

Not because of how hard it would be to make or update the maps but because of the networkable objects limits in the BF engine. Which includes players, vehicles, ladders, and destructible objects. They all fall into the same category and cannot exceed a few hundred combined on any given map.

Twigs wrote:

These players will often consider the following actions to constitute griefing: kill stealing, player killing, spamming, team killing (or team wounding),

(taken from Benu's wikipedia link)

So, the rules don't apply to everyone I guess? I've had many occasions wheren Gwynzer himself has carried out those actions against me. Then there's the time he pushed me over the edge of the Imperial building on Null thereby killing me but without the hassle of getting a teamkill.

I don't complain about it, I dust myself off, call him names then shoot hi in the face. But yes, it basically comes down to being a nuisance on the server and appears to only come into effect when the admin at the time decides he doesn't like something.

If you have a problem with Gwynzer, you should have a talk with him, he can be surprisingly reasonable.

If for some reason you think that isn't enough, and stronger action is needed, you can always contact BlackIntel admins directly.

Twigs wrote:

As to slave, read previous posts Ben. Some of us are against it because of the current problems leading to exploits. Again, I get the feeling this is one of those occasions where it suits a set group of people to behave how they see fit and attempt to bring the community round to that way of thinking.

Exploiting bugs should be punishable, of course. I think that should be on every servers' rulelist.

However, the post I was responding to doesn't have anything to do with that:

Twigs wrote:

Bi doesn't have too many rules, they are actually fairly simple, but very conflictive. You can roof in one area but not in another.

I was merely pointing out that in my opinion the rules considering roofing are quite clear (areas in CP radius you can't access without a speederbike are prohibited).
