Same here it updates then it crashes after the screen goes black for about 10 seconds... I have Windows XP and a Nvidia 9800 GT and wide screen display (if that helps at all). I've played this mod before when it first came out and loved it. too bad I cant play it now.

I recently downloaded FS. I could play 2142 just fine. After I downloaded the mod, it updated when I started it up. Ok. Updated. So I start it again. It crashes. I start 2142, it crashes.

No pop up or anything. I get a black screen for a second as if the game is about to load and it just crashes. I restored my computer and 2142 works fine.

I'm on Vista 32 bit. Any suggestions? Thanks.
