Jumppacks would also be cool, and probably more useful.
Jetpacks would be awesome tho if they kept you hovering without input- w to go up/fwd, s to go down, a-d to strafe- no input = hover.

Then you'd have a nice steady firing platform- the way jango used his.
Firing a T21 while hovering or strafing in the air would only be cooler if rock music were playing.

Maybe the jetpack kit should come with a guitar or loudspeakers.
Or both!

Imagine a stepped pyramid, like on Yavin with CP's at intervals on the way up.
Jet stormies assaulting upwards, taking each level at a time would be cool, with Tie Bombers and Lambda providing suppressive fire.

Which made me think of a lambda gunship... a Lambda with three positions and no ramp? F1- forward guns F2 controls both of the 'landing area ' blasters which are now linked... f3 rear gun.

NO! ofc. you can add that map/gamemode special on event builds but not permanent fs is made to have fun not for flying ppl
