I was rumaging around the forums and I saw a post with the top 10 mods from a reviewer for BF2/2142 mods, and he mentioned Project Reality. I observed that quite a few of you like the mod. So I said, "Hey, shouldn't there be a reality mod for 2142?". There is, and this is the link: http://www.moddb.com/mods/extreme-realism-mod .

It is basically Project reality 100 years from now. I played with it a bit, and I found it quite nice. I think you would enjoy this too, especially if your a Project Reality Fan. Multiplayer is not supported yet, but within the next Patch, they are going to try to run a server. It helps if you played the Original version of 2142 for this game (You don't have free unlocks in that game, you need to get them in the original).

I recommend this mod for those who are familiar to Project Reality, and people who can't find games/mods for games* that are suppose to be realistic.

*Breach, a game made by Atomic games [people who made simulators for the U.S Army], is coming out next August. It has Full destruction [you can destroy everything, from support beams to bridges, and it is very smooth, instead of a half A sec wait time for it to break like in BC2], and active cover [If you played Uncharted 2, you know what I mean. if you didn't, instead of having to manually crouch, you take cover {you view in 3rd person, which is quite helpful}, allowing you to take blind fire]. IF you want link to gameplay, here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3zgkP9ckIq0 . It is small scale battles though, so you might not be too happy with that.

Edit: Release Time for Breach is late June early July.
