FirstStrike.exe should be in the same folder as BF2142.exe
which is in C:\Program Files\Games\Battlefield 2142 on my pc. If you go into the mods folder you're already too far.

Ok, thank you I'm downloading it right now. Wait a second, is it on my program files folder, then battlefield 2143 deluxe... and mods folder and next first strike folder? or the FS launcher folder? mmm... which one?

It's a common problem with the chocolat cookie SecuROM (funk them, seriously)
Download this: http://download.securom.com/support/000168/bf2142.zip
Extract the bf2142.exe, rename it to FirstStrike.exe and replace the FirstStrike.exe in your Games\Battlefield 2142 folder.

have the same problem, it happened to my bf2142 deluxe edition too, I mean when I tried to play BF, and now with FS, damn vista, what a mess...

ya i saw that this question was posted before but nobody spoke english english. anyway i have a Vista and the deluxe edition and i downloaded the mod and did all that. i press launch and then the emulator error pops up. im a really big star wars fan and would really appreciate any help. and please if u know how to fix the problem say it so we can understand. thanks
