I remember having problems with a patch for a different game. The folder I stored the patch in had too many characters in the filepath (something like C:/documents&settings/my documents/downloads/patches/etc/etc/etc).

Try running the patch and the bf2142 patches from the root of the C: drive for example to keep the filepath length shorter. I dont know if the FS patch would suffer from that problem but it might be worth a shot

BlackIntel. I crash on certain maps but I'm pretty sure it's due to the bug that Twiggles mentioned elsewhere.

If the installer was corrupt at all, it's very VERY unlikely you'd only crash on a certain map. It's more likely that you crash on everymap or crash as you're launching the game. Or it just won't even install at all - the Installer Integrity check has a purpose .

i dl blackintel do i have problams ? no! why are you blaming blackintel ? idk ...

works fine for me but some of my clanmates game crashes a lot ,but it works fine for me ....

Hmm..people may have used different mirrors, there are a number on the list. I would suspect most of the Black Intel players used their link, while some people may have used FilePlanets. Whichever one you used, simply pick a different one.

Couple of others have had this. One of the testers reported that re-downloading fixed it, may have been a corrupt file somewhere from the mirror. Try a different mirror.

Also, some bugs have been picked up on a couple items. At this time I am not able to confirm if these are related to crashes some people have reported. If you have the crashes on more than one map (Endor Strike Team is one I have heard reports of, along with Jundland Wastes). The bug exists in some vehicles, a couple of them are common to the reports of crashes I have heard.

Woohoo, I'm back, and I got bugs as always. Now, here's the problem : I cannot play to the Endor Strike Team map, whenever the loading of the map is about to be done, the game crashes. I've tried to reinstall both BF2142 and FSmod, but it still crashes.

Help plox ?
