If you connect and hang around other players do sometimes join. if not, just look for servers playing co-op maps. This allows you to enjoy first strike by playing bots, otehr players may well then join you.

Crashes loading singleplayer eh? And some maps? Can you tell me which maps. Is it all space maps or space and infantry maps? Are these maps crashes caused when trying to join a server or when loading singleplayer?

For teh singleplayer...I'm not sure what the issue could be really. For online servers, that sounds suspiciously like an error caused when you version does not match the server version.

Check out the latest newspost on the front page, there are some common error fixes listed for new players. If you are still having issues...load first strike in order to bring up the launcher window but do not hit the deploy button. Click file, preferences and tell me what version the launcher says in the field called...version. It should be 1015. if it isn't then your copy of First Strike hasn't updated correctly.

If it does say 1015 you can try the following. Change the version number to 1014 (just type it in the window) then close the launcher. Navigate to program files/electronic arts/bf2142/mods and delete the zip file titled fsbuild_1015. Now start first strike and in the launcher press launch as normal, the mod should update itself again, then try SP or joining a server. If you still have issues then your First Strike installation may well be corrupt. Uninstall the mod and try again.

1.) cant run any server. Server list is loaded correctly, but servers have no players. If I connect, nobody is playing. I´m sure I ticked right buttons as it is shown here

2.) cant run some singe-player maps. Game crashes on startup at the end of loading.

3.) game crashes on startup during playing some maps(Yavin).

I´m sure I have right version of BF 2142 (1.5) and right version of First strike (1.5) updated in luncher. I´ve already checked everything several times.
