Don't worry about reinstalling, I've done it a few times. It might seem long, but you get used to it. Heck, I even know my CD code by heart!

Ok, folks, I understand what you mean... but it's a dull work.. remove and re install the whole thing !!! For now, BF2142 is working, and just for that, I don't have the courage for all removing...

What he said, if you want to install an older version of you currently have, you must reinstall game then update to the one you want.

1.51 may have left some trace. Try reinstalling 2142, patch it to 1.5 then install First Strike 1.5.

Hi for the all of you
I have installed BF2142 1.51, but as it doesn't work, I have removed it.. Do something of it stay and forbidd me to install FS ??

My message appears on the first strike launcher window, before I can hit the Launch button...

In fact, it seems that it is the launcher who forbidd me to launch...

Of course I have a legit version of BF2142, bought four years ago !! I am a first hour fan !! but it is true that I use a noCD patch to start my favorite game... do it cause any trouble ??

Hi there KQMan, need a few more details such as if you're using a legit version of BF2142 as you need the disc to make it work.

You haven't installed the BF2142 1.51 beta have you? FS won't work with that yet.

Does FS give you the option to ignore and install anyway? If it does, hit that. If you have just installed everything recently, try restarting after you install the BF2142 1.5 patch then install first strike.

I'm using BF2142 1.5, and I have just dwld and installed FS 1.5, but I have this odd message : it seems that FS don't recognize my version of BF2142...

Do you have any ideas about fixing that, so I can play your amazing mod ??
