The only custom thing I notice straight off an exiter.exe fix (see my posted threads).  I'm afraid I can't tell you what exactly we installed, nor in what order, because It's been different every time, and it always takes a ton of tweaks to get going.  We've had many things running with the server including BF2/2142cc, Custom Ingame scripts, IRC Bots, stats reporting scripts and some custom maps.  None have been easy to get working, all have needed wee hacks and tweaks to get working.   What I've posted there is the latest version of the BI server, I don't know what makes it work (It wasn't working when we originally installed it, I gave up for about a week, then it started working again, nothing had changed!), but maybe it will help you out.

Also, I think I just turned off the server when people were playing on it (Sorry if any of you read this!).  I should have checked that first :<

EDIT: Just remembered, BI have also bypassed the FS Server Autopatcher, and directly launch the BF2142 server from the CC.  When a server patch out, we start the autopatcher manually.

Yeah that didn't work either. I tried everything with those server files and it always ended up in my server not starting or responding, or not starting at all. I really wish there was an easy way to start a server on First Strike like in the good old days.

Also a few of them have the Co-op maps running so you can battle bots while you wait for more live players to join.

Who managed to make maps with bots work?? Even making a First Strike server at all is hard enough without it appearing red when I try to join my own server, even when following the Readme by letter in the First Strike server zip file.

Nothing is working for me, is there someone that has a perfect BF2142 server folder with First Strike in it working and all? If you're out there, can you make a zip of it and upload it for me? It would be appreciated.
