Ok now I can get into the game, but it crashed always when it is finish with louding and I click join. There is too an other problem, which i have ever. I can´t make 8x antialiasing and I cant make the biggest resolution.

Maglas, do you have 1.4 and 1.5 versions of First Strike installed? If so, then you may have caused an incompatability since the launcher update merely renames one file to get First Strike to run with 2141 v1.51.

Darcan, have you cleared your cache in My Documents?

1.4 and 1.5 works for so one month without problems. But only now is that problem.

1.4 doesn't work? First Strike is now on 1.5 and has been since August last year. That could be your problem right there MaGlas.

Not sure what is going on with your situation Darcan, the message you are getting sounds like you might have tried to get on while the server was set up for testing, as there are no custom maps that come with 1.5. Try again now, as the server is definitely set up for public play at the moment. If you still have the same message it could be a Punkbuster issue, try updating that to see if that helps.

So: BF2142 works. First Strike Launcher works too, but when I click Launch, a black screen, then crash. 1.4 doesnt works. Hmpf... . If you want to look yourself, we can do it with Teamviewer.

BF2142 works fine.

Just as your server saddens me ... I Text_Customap or you've been disconnected from server upon joining.

What doesn't work? Same as above need more details, such as can you use BF2142? Have you had the problem since 1.51 came out? Have you ever had a working version of First Strike? If you are crashing out, at what point is this happening? When loading a map, or when deploying etc? Or are you not even able to fire up FS at all? Need this info to help narrow down your problem.

The FS launcher says I'm on version 1.5 but FS I said I'm in version 1.2, this normal?

I'm on a Vista PC

there are no custom maps on rebel defiance unless you are running an older version of First Strike (ie 1.4).
