What I did:
Install EADM
Install BF2142:deluxe
run bf2142 update 1.50 full
run bf2142 update 1.51
install first strike
let the launcher update
let the launcher... launch first strike 
the most likely step i got wrong was the bf2142 update. BF2142_Update_1.50.exe was used for that part. What did I do wrong?

Well, hello there? Long time no see! Just wanted to say hi. Old memories, old memories. For those of you who don't know me, I was an active player of the mod in it's early years (i don't think I was there at the very beginning though. Do any of you remember me? Is tea-bagging (dare I say that word) as big a problem (imo lol) as it was since I left? More importantly, is this mod still alive? Or was the time I frequented the mod the height of its popularity. No matter, just came to say hello, and a possible re-entry in this great mod.
