Only got to play a couple rounds, and I must say I was pleasantly surprised that mowing down bots in a full squad was fun. Knowing your enemy introduces more teamwork it seems. You get to stick together too.

Sounds like some good games there. I'm always an advocate for using the larger map sizes so you have access to all available assets, even with relatively small numbers these can still be a lot of fun, Jundland Wastes in particular is a good example of this, and Bandomeer 64? C'mon Lambda Shuttle vs Lambda Shuttle? What's not to love?

I'll be on tonight, so hope to see more of the same.

Got to play large Bandomeer map, and large Jundland 64, Espa and both Rhen vars.

Rebels held out longer than expected at the first Jundland city (motesta) against large numbers of missiling AT-STs, and radar PTs - and even with a crushing, strafing Sentinel (saw lots of rebs flying there).

AT-STs and PTs then went up the very difficult ascent to the Tusken plateau camp while others had circled around the back and attacked the rebels from behind with blasters, nades and AT-ST missiles.

The rebs missed the chance to kill the flanking walkers in the valleys from the cliff tops for some reason - could be due to the other frontal attack or the heavy assault shuttle - not sure.

Rebels again held out pretty long here somehow.

Should have taken pics.

Much later I was removed by phone call unfortunately during Research but played many hours with good numbers (14 or so, and they stayed there the whole time).

I think this was due to the novelty, and variety of the never used larger maps. They were very fun.

I hope we can continue to play the seldom used maps and large sizes - just for the unexpected fun of it.

On Bandomeer there were mortars hitting the drilling platform CPs, and we had all sorts of precarious platform landings while being shot up. We had guys being blown off the catwalks, and Shuttle vs Shuttle fights for the drilling platform even!
