Finally found the problem, I had to launch first strike with the first strike launcher instead of the revive launcher. After I did that it downloaded a bunch of stuff and I finally could join a server :)

I had the same problem, but I fixed it. Go to the shortcut right click hit properties, then in the exce. line delete the 0 that is at the end and no in parenthesis. At least it worked when I did it.

Then you need preferences sorting out. Click file, preferences and in the arguments field enter +widescreen 1 or just force it to run your resolution by entering +szx 1440 +szy 900

Yes, 2141, 1.50, then 1.51, then FS.
No preferences enabled.

This isn't PB related...and drivers are fine.

For whatever reason Bandommier Refinery, which was working fine the first two days, has no also started crashing the game when deploy is clicked.

If its still unclear what happens, I load, click deploy, then the game crashes with the message "bf2142 has stopped working"

I suppose you could try updating you video drivers and punkbuster by running pbsetup (if you havnt already).

No, I meant I'm using First Strike 1.50. My fault.

I have 2142 Updated to 1.51, installed correctly with 1.50 then 1.51, all that stuff.

I have an issue with the game crashing when I hit deploy. It seems to be an issue with all maps, (because of that I've tried have done it at least once) whether in SP, L, or Local Co-Op, or Multiplayer.

The ones that always crash are like Battle of Yavin, Encounter at Mos Entha, Battle of Ryloth.

I've tried deleting cache, that gets me past Deploy, but in Battle of Yavin for example, all that pops up is the pre-spaw. I can see the map and the background, but I can't click anything to choose my spawn points, to spawn, or even exit. I can hear the mouse go over the options, but when I click nothing happens. Sometimes deleting cache doens't work.

The only maps that so far are loading perfectly for me are the two Endor maps, Clearing and Assualt.

I'm sure this question has come up before, but I haven't located anything already posted that worked.

If it helps, I have Version 1.5, Windows 7 32 Bit.
