Hmm... what about CPs? Can they be used to trigger the elevator?
Let me explain:
Next to the elevator is a panel that will call it. Once you enter the elevator, an invisible (or well hidden) CP will detect that there's a player nearby and trigger the elevator to go. Of course, this will work only if there are two floors for the elevator. If the elevator is used for more floors, it won't know where to go.
