Re: Radeon 9250?

I'm running with a radeon 9800 pro, and it's barely handling it (with playable fps, min 30 at most times, dropping to as low as 15 in very intense situations). all settings low and view dist at 70 %. so going far below that card wouldn't be a good idea imho

Re: Radeon 9250?

y dawg314 make sure you have either PCIe or AGP. If you just have PCI (an older CPU, even 1 year) then you should upgrade, because you can't get much out of PCI except for a Nvidia 5200 or something like that that plays low GFX. I HATE LOW GRAPHICS!

Re: Radeon 9250?

HEY i've got a PCI slot and i got this awesome Nvidia GeForce 6200 OC 256 MB and it runs perfectly on medium high.  It bugs me tho that they COMPLETELY left PCI behind.  I might update my motherboard in a year so I can get a PCIe card.  Motherboards only cost around a buck50 for a half decent one so that's an option

Re: Radeon 9250?

MMM the box says minimum req: ATI Radeon 8500... from that viewpoint it should work.  I have a radeon 9550 and it works fine.  I can even run it at medium settings smoothly.  The only thing that stops me from putting it there is the unbearable  load time.

ATI Radeon 9550: Summer 2005 www.newegg.com $72.00!!!! AND IT RUNS BF2!!!
