Heh, I think Twigs is right, if anything they might see it of more of a threat to their game by giving people a taste of Battlefield style Star Wars action before they deliver it. I think they'd be wanting the public chomping at the bit for that come release date, which they won't be if they've been able to chow down on some good old First Strike action for the couple of years prior to release.

Plus even with EA having the license there is probably still a lot of red tape, they're licensed to produce this game, but to release anything else Star Wars related they'd clearly have to go through channels with Lucasfilm/Disney before they could green light anything, but it is a nice thought. Standalone would be awesome.

Might put a few feelers out there and see what comes back.

Gameplay of a similar style to the original SW:BF? Something more like DICE's current gameplay style from the Battlefield series? Heck, maybe you'd like to see some of the gameplay mechanics or other elements utilised in First Strike make an appearance? Or perhaps you're after something totally fresh and new? I was jumping up and down in my seat and giggling like a little school girl when this was announced. lol I can't tell you how many times I watched the teaser trailer. I'm so incredibly hyped. l've waited a loooooooong time for DICE to do this.
