Great work so far Dnamro. I've been playing it off and on in my spare time, and it's a lot of fun. I hope you find a way to make the At-At work similar to how you managed to get the capships on Taskforce working.

I'd love to see the At-At on more maps too.

1) I installed latest 22mb patch:

Please remove ^this check box "Run First Strike BF2142 Mod 1.61a SP Beta", because this option is not working!

2) I played almost every map for a short time (around 5 minutes, didn't play until the end of the match).

3) The crashing problem is still here. sad  Maybe it is just only a little better then before.

4) I still can't play:  Tatooine_bestine   and    Tatooine_mosespa_night.
I am getting CTD in the middle loading of the map, or while loading the map - it drops me back to main menu.

5) During weekends I play various LAN MP games with my Friends. (I have 4 computers in my living room.) My Friends still don't know about this MOD. I am sure they will be very excited about FS total conversion MOD (like I am very excited), when I will show them the MOD for the first time!

I thought this weekend I will try to test multiplayer co-op against AI with my friends, but now -after today's testings- I changed my mind. I will wait until the stability gets better! (I don't want that my friends get bad first impression about our preferred mod.)

It appears that major stability issues were related to the custom game mode kits, so I have removed those from the latest Beta version of the mod.   I think I fixed the missing files in the installer so that the Tattoine maps will all work in singleplayer now.    Yes, it's a good idea to wait until the mod is stable before testing with friends.     I will see about fixing #1 in the installer for the next version.

2) I tried Tattoine maps to see if they realy works and... Yay, "tatooine_bestine" is working now!  http://forum.ea.com/eaforum/images/smilies/e8a506dc4ad763aca51bec4ca7dc8560.gif     @Dnamro Thank You for fixing this map!

But "Tatooine_mosespa_night" is still not working o.O?

3) Then I played "tatooine_mosespa 32" for 15 minutes without the crash! I was commander & my team won. I realy had fun playing without the crash!

^PIC: The computer boots was comming back to stop me "taking theirs last Control point", but you know me - I am goot shooter & I shot them all - and took (with the help of my robot R2-D2) the "Commercial District" control point!

4) I took this route (no bot was there) and easily took the "Commercial District" control point. Then my bots start spamming from this "newly acquired" control point & computer was surrounded by our army. smile

5) This was my testing for today. I have feeling the stability is much better now. I will continue to test other maps & let you know!

Yes!  It appears to be confirmed that the strange stability issues were due to the custom kits at the game mode level after all.   Finally after months of stuggling with this, we are finally close to getting a stable build that can be released.   Then I can finally work on redoing the navmeshes on the map an fixing up the new maps.   

There are only two new maps that I want to see released in the next public version:  Anchorhead and Outpost Hoth.   The others can be fixed and released later.   

  Mosespa night is just an installer issue missing a map file.  I will put out a new version this weekend with that fixed.   You can also look forward to trying out some more kit customization from InfernalShadow:

The look of the stormtroopers has been changed so that they fit the scenario they are in. For instance the scout trooper isn't a normal trooper carrying a "E-11" anymore now he's taken the officer slot and will only spawn when a player chooses him. And the trooper class has his correct normal stormtrooper outfit. The two heavy classes of stormtrooper have been changed also to depict having a "Imperial Heavy Weapons kit" by adding the backpack.

I found out some sounds are not working again!
All following (pls, see pics below) cannons's sounds don't have the "First sound" - when fired, but only have a "Second sound" - when they hit the ground!
