missiles in SW were mainly used to knock out targets like shield gens and bombing runs. there werent that many that actually honed in onto space craft.

I know they didn't show much of it in the movies, but they did a bunch in the expanded universe. Then again didn't u guys say u didn't want to go too deep into that? Perhaps you guys could change them to dedicated air to ground and air to ship guided weapons? I'd definetly hope to see some snazzy air to ground weapons. Though I think that alot of people would notice the lack of torpedoes, GC got them used to it.
