Sorry to resurrect an old topic, but since the team is moving to BF2142 has this changed? I mean the commander has the ability to move the titan, can this be applied to the Star Destroyer or Mon Cal?

maybe.. unsure and the movement is VERY slow to not cause any issues with players and jumpyness/collision issues

So does this imply that DiCE has changed engine to allow players to be on vehicles without being in it?

I for one hope so. If this is possible then the team might be able to have interiors for corvettes, just keep them slow.

What did galactic conquest do about this? And of course, star destroyers going slow is natural. Would be pretty neat looking out a window inside a moving star destroyer.

look out for 2142 specs.. the titans are moveable but very slow. we believe internally its to conpensate for the collision issues that the current engine has.. unless they have changed something..

there is one other way of course.. that the interior of the titan is "portalled" like ut and other engines use.. so its basically static.. but the exterior moves.
