Re: UFO's :D

Why wouldnt an alien civilisation want to visit earth? it is teeming with life .

Anyway, the UFO i saw over farm ...

I was 16 and was in the parks hut with my Girlfreind ....chillin wink  ...cos my mates had nipped down to the shops for a while ... they had the munchies wink .

Anyway , after a while Lucy ( my gf) and I started to walk out of the park when a VERY bright white-orange disk shaped light caught our eye.   It was visibly hovering over a farm. The farm was on the other side of the hill , maybe 400 + metres away. It looked bigger than a house.  After about a minute it moved upwards a bit and then suddenly a white beam shot out from underneath it . The beam sweeped the ground goin left and right.
It would do this for a bit then the beam would turn off. Then it would turn back on. After this sequence happened a few times ... I counted in my head how long the beam was on for etc ..... each beam sweeping 'session' lasted exactly 8 seconds ... it would stay off for 4 seconds.  This went on for about 15 minutes and then it suddenly seems to either shoot up into the sky so fast that it kinda blurred or it cloaked itself from the underbelly to the roof to give the effect that it shot up very fast.
I was laughing hysterically thro excitement. I will never forget that night ... I just wished I had had a camera or video camera with me ...ah well.  I can visualize it ... I can look to my left right now ,as i type , and see the farm accross on the other hillside.

After a few days me and my GF visited the Farm ( my mate lives in the row of houses in front of it , so I knew the farmer abit from when we played football there ) ... we asked whether they had seen anything ( this sighting happened at around 2-30 am on a Friday night )  but unfortuanely he was in bed asleep before midnight.  Im sure he thought we were weird lol .  We saw no mutilated cow tho sad  tongue

Re: UFO's :D

The thing i saw chasing a Passanger Jet   looked kinda small ... it wasnt lit up but it was visibly cylindrical. It was not attatched to the plane. Oh btw it was night time ...outside my house ( I was walking my gf back home) .   We saw it and the plane a about 7 seconds before it went over the horizon. Not much else to say other than that i know very little about new-found aeroplane technology so it might not have been a UFO .. in that sense.

Iv also seen , quite few times , very slow moving 'stars' in the sky that change direction  abruptly ( like by 90 degrees )  . Iv seen these cos after I saw the farm UFO I took (we took) a more vested interest in it and if it was a clear night we'd sit outside for a while and chat , look at the stars ...etc etc etc wink etc.

Re: UFO's :D

As far as we know, it is physically impossible for life from another galaxy to travel to ours. It's just so far, even just to the closest galaxy. The amount of fuel alone required would be so much that it would burn more than it could carry (Star Wars space travel isn't anything like in real life!) Sure, there's probably intelligent life SOMEWHERE in the universe, and for sure there's simple life (bacteria-like organisms, etc.), but have they made it to our galaxy yet?

...Don't count on it.

"As far as we know"  ...  indeed.

Just because we havent figured/descovered out how to do something doesnt mean its impossible.
