Well there was something in Battlefront that depending what map you won, you could go to the next planet and take it over. I haven't played it in a while.

If I remember correctly, it was part of the two different campaigns, Clone Wars and the Galactic Civil War. You'd have to complete the Naboo maps before going on to Geonosis, and you'd have to complete the Tatooine maps before going on to Hoth, etc.
