I enjoy BF2, alot. I don't play for the realism or anything like that..but for the squad teamwork. I'm sure most of you know how it is to be in a squad with a good leader and where everyone works togethor. Its a lot of fun. I hope BF2124 builds on that.

EDIT: More on topic, I for one am aprehensive to buy BF2124 because the whole futuristic setting doesn't appeal to me alot. Which is weird because I like star wars. And because I don't feel like paying 50 more bucks for it. I feel like the only reason I'd play it would be for this mod, and no offense to the mod or anything but I'd like to get a little more out of a game

2142 looks fun to me. Bf2 i dident like so much because all the bugs and so one. I really think it was a smart move to take fs to 2142. Because ea and dice are really fixing it up fixing bugs glitches and balance. Plus better graphics. So all this will be much faster and smoother. Making fs better in graphics, players, gameplay, and balance. This mod will be so good. It will be the best star wars game ever made and its for free it cant get better then that. 50 dollars is not that much. Its one gas trip. So its not to bad when you can get a good game. And make more games for free off a good game. Mod are what mak bf so great and i really think this fs mod will be one of the best. SO i love bf2142

50 dollars is much when you're a teenager and unemployed..and no I can fill up my moped for 2 bucks thank you very much.

Star Wars isn't Futuristic, it took place a long..long time ago..

I dont understand when people complain about "realism" in a game, it's a game. Or they say it's too futuristic, don't you people have imaginations. BF2142 is the only furture setting FPS( that I can think of ) that considers real military technology and advances what we already have or imagined. They presented us with a logical story for the future ,and every thing I could imagine will be around in 2142( besides the nukes) but I live in California, so I'll be under frozen water.

You guys hear about some mod team that wanted to make a futuristic Mod for BF2 once they realeased the tools. EA said they could'nt make a mod with a the futuristic setting. I can think of 3 reasons why, 2142, Titan MOde,  and stopping the make of a furturistic game without Battlewalkers

If you read my post you have noticed I didn't care much for realism. Basically I'm still going to get BF2124 just not right away...not until this mod is released and I'm sure I'll have fun playing it.
